JaPaula Kemp is a 15 yr resident of Fort Bend County, Texas. She is a native of Flint, Michigan and was raised by her grandparents. JaPaula was the first to attend college in her family and the only one to graduate college and go on to graduate school. She remains active in the Fort Bend community volunteering and getting out the vote with the Fort Bend Democratic Party. JaPaula is a lifetime, Democrat. She has served as past HOA vice president and has also served on several boards and committees for local city government. She is a proud advocate, wife, mother, and grandmother; she is also a woman of Christian faith and values. JaPaula enjoys advocating for those who are underprivileged and disadvantaged. In addition, she spends time mentoring 2nd and 3rd year law students in the criminal law clinic at Thurgood Marshall School of Law. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, biking, skating, volunteering and spending time with family and close friends.
I have been licensed to practice law in Texas since the year 2003. I am in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. My legal career and legal experience have equipped me with the tools necessary to lead and exercise sound judgment.
